the earthcruiser ‘EXP’ expedition vehicle is a light-weight purposely designed home that can grow 600 mm (24 inch) upwards at the push of a button when setting up camp. this extends into a large walk-around area within the body in ‘stationary’ mode, and in its ‘lowered’ position a more aerodynamic shape for the highway, and a ‘compact’ shape for off-road adventures. solar panelling, a diesel water heater, plus a raft of features brings relaxation and enjoyment to isolated stays.

the internal roof is domed shaped, providing structural support without compromising external height. the ‘EXP’ even comes fitted with a walk through entry way shower (mud room), while the toilet slides in-and-out at the touch of a switch. earthcruiser comes equipped with up to 300 l (79 gallon) of fresh water. the 12 V pump system draws water from individual tanks, allowing the use of one tank for cooking, and the other for showering. the plumbing flexibility can pump from a river, or dam, into either tank. it is also possible to pump directly from rivers into either the internal or external shower by-passing both holding tanks–creating an endless stream. purified drinking water is delivered to the tank via an onboard water purifier through a stainless steel drinking fountain. for travelling through colder climates, the ‘EXP’ can provide fully insulated and warmed water tanks. with such an important health consideration, earthcruiser is fitted with the only unit in the world that is certified to meet world EPA health standards for microbiological purifiers against bacteria, and viruses.

earthcruiser can be parked up at the isolated camping spot for up to 10 days without the use of additional power.  the roof is recessed with two integrated 150 W shatter proof solar panels (with the option of up to five panels, providing 1000 W of power). should the batteries drop below 50% of their ideal level, an alarm system will advise. the electrical system is designed to eliminate the need to carry a portable generator. externally on each sid, and rear, are water resistant LED flood lights, providing bright lighting for the ‘camp’ area beneath the righ-hand-side awning, and lighting for the external shower on the left-hand-side.
