with all-wheel drive, the ‘f-type SVR’ can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 322 km/h. the two seater also incorporates titanium and inconel exhaust system which delivers an even more purposeful, harder-edged sound and also saving 16 kilograms of weight.

the cabin gains performance seats finished black leather with a distinctive quilt patter, contrasting stitching and headrests embossed with the ‘SVR’ logo. the anodised aluminum shift paddles contrast the fabrics accompanied by an eight inch touchscreen floods the interior with 3D mapping and 770 watts of sound. exterior design options to complement the carbon fiber rear wing include a roof panel, front chin bonnet louvres, fender vent ingots and door mirror caps.

‘the purity of the f-type’s form is something truly special, but in designing the new f-type SVR we had the opportunity to create something even more dramatic, explains director of design at jaguar ian callum. ‘every additional form, line or component is there for a reason, and contributes to the car’s increased performance as well as its presence. cutting-edge aerodynamics have always been fundamental to jaguar design, and everything from the enlarged air intakes to the active rear wing is essential to the new f-type SVR’s dramatic looks and 200mph potential.’
