jay leno and mr. koenigsegg go for a spin in the 1360 hp 'one:1'

reality TV show host jay leno recently invited the koenigsegg ‘one of 1’ meagcar, plus the company’s founding CEO, to his garage of automotive dreams. the $3,000,000.00 supercar is fitted with an upgraded one million watt engine and weighs just 1,380 kilograms. it also features front air vents and a top-mounted air intake that significantly increase downforce and performance. the designers worked directly with the the swedish-automaker’s owner from the video, christian von koenigsegg, to overcome challenges and deliver solutions that maintain the aerodynamic and performance requirements.

even the scissor that doors that leno opens– koenigsegg calls them dihedral synchro-helix actuation doors — are made from one piece of superlight carbon fiber. jay takes it for a spin, and then mr. koenigsegg does the same. only seven were built, including the prototype, and only one will live in the united states. and, actually, now there are only six left: one was destroyed at the nürburgring a few months ago.
