lotus revealed the company’s quickest care to date with the ’three eleven’ roadster. the car is focused on providing an concentrated driving experience, and emphasizes the ability to deliver the celebrated handling and acceleration. it features an advanced lightweight body with an open cockpit design and an edited V6 supercharged engine that develops 450 hp.

thethree eleven’ offers an admirable power to weight ratio and is capable of dashing from zero to 100 km/h in less than 3.0 seconds before ending up at a maximum speed of 290 km/h. the aggressive stance of the car be found in it’s details. the car’s profile is dominated by the roll bar and fixed front and rear spoilers that keep it glued to the road. without a windscreen, the driver will definitely need a helmet to keep the facial structure intact that may result from the acceleration forces.

the lotus ‘three eleven’ will be available in two forms: road and race, with the race version including everything the road model has, but also consists of a more assertive aero kit, a sequential gearbox and an six point harness for the driver’s seat. lotus appropriated it with a standard aeroscreen, with the option to accommodate a passenger seat. the interior design is strictly meant for racing with no comfort options like an entertainment system or cupholders. the lotus three eleven will begin production in february 2016, with only 331 vehicles being made.
