marshmallow laser feast worked in collaboration with FBFX, analog studio and 94 cameras to create a high-resolution virtual human body-scan of actress beryl nesbitt. ‘we wanted to go beyond the limits of the audience’s eyeballs – using 3D to reveal different perspectives on the human form,’ said MLF.

the project was conceived for the new music video ‘memex’ by the band duologue as deeper study into filmmaking for the virtual reality environment – a three dimensional study of mortality exploring photogrammetry processes. the three dimensional virtual reality scans were captured in 360º and at 1/13,000th of a second, combined with a spherical panoramic HDR photo of a sunset for added realism.
