originally designed for use in a military context, mercedes-benz have announced they will be implementing a 6x6
all-wheel drive to their high-performance AMG G-class line - making it the company's second most expensive
model behind the SLS electric.

despite weighing almost 4000kg, and being equipped with standard 37 inch wheels, the AMG G63 SUV is fitted
with a twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8, boasting 536 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque bringing it from
0-100 km/h (62mph) in just over 6 seconds. a 7-speed automatic gear-box and five locking differentials give full
ride control - where compressor tanks for its tire inflation system give the vehicle the ability to travel in any conditions,
regardless of the terrain. unlike military cockpits, the G63 is adorned in typical AMG fashion - with full alcalantra
leather interiors, heavily contoured sport seats and a spacious rear passenger cabin.

  • because 4×4 is not enough …

    Mark says:
  • Just what we needed.

    Geoff Bush says:
  • no. 1 on any baddies wish list

    ... says:
  • Not exactly novelty, the brazilians explored this suspention system a lot, look for cascavel. Also the american armored car, the m8 greyhound.

Good to see a non war usage tho, cool.

    what? says:
  • Great. Something even more disgusting than a Hummer for insecure wealthy people to use as an anti-depressant on the way to the grocery store.

    tod says:
  • What no LV interior?

    Ron Smith says:
  • sounds like a few jealous comments!

come on…if someone else has the money, puts people to work, creates lots of jobs…and you make comments about insecure wealthy people…

you might want to look around and see how many poor people create jobs!

    john says:
  • m8 greyhound and the casceval? you understand this is a truck with doors and not a turret mount hatch…

    jim says:
  • You would only love it if you have money.

    almegalli says:
  • Quite possibly my new “all-time” favorite vehicle!

    JunkMail says:
  • Status and novelty aside, what’s the point of tandem rear axles unless you’re towing something really heavy? More weight, more complexity, more to go wrong… oh, yeah; it’s a Mercedes.

    Phil says:
  • @Phil-more traction dipshit.

    Zac says:
  • Rad . . .

    Absolutely rad.

Next to the Paramount Marauder (Civ Version), this is truly a favorite.

Can’t wait to see if they put it into production . . . and can’t wait to see one in the flesh.

    Jeff Stover says:
  • Nice ride…..i want one…but your a F2ckn idiot for driving like that through the Spitzkoppe area. Do you even realize how much damage you’ve made to the terrain and how long it would take for those tracks to fade. Regte doos!!!

    Nel van Greunen says:
  • How has this site not heard of uppercase letters and how they are used?

    Antti says:
  • Superb! And it could probably flatten a Prius in two seconds or less.

    Jay Heathman says:
  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!

    Dustin says:
  • Spectacular. Absolutely have to have one. As Jeremy would say MORE POWER!

    Josef says:
  • They will need something like this when they finally get to Mars.
The interior looks comfy and roomy

    Desmond says:
