the apache customsenergica motor company ‘midnight runner’ has an unquestionable attachment to the 1980’s. dark green and glossy, it proudly wears a pair of square headlights like a pair of yellow ‘aviators‘ on its vintage fairing. it features an abruptly squared-off tail section with its angular tank immediately recalling the classic ducati ‘750 F1’.

though this classic influence is merely aesthetic, as the ‘midnight runner’ has the modern comforts of inverted forks in aluminum triple clamps, and radially mounted brembo brake calipers. a radiator for the energicaEVA’ electric motor sits directly behind the gold-finished forks. at the rear, a red LED arrangement comprising 56 glowing lazer-like-lights defines the tail of the electric café racer.

  • Yeeck… this could be called ‘Original Sin’ and would never pass a design school exam except for where Trabant grads came from.
