sail off into the sunset on the nemesis one which has been conceptualized as ‘the world’s first luxury hydrofoil catamaran. its 101 meter-long (332 feet) body features a sleek, stylish design that is mirrored in the interior spaces. at the same time, it is all powered with zero emissions; hydrogen-electric propels the vessel and a rooftop of solar panels help recharge its batteries further when out on the ocean.

the nemesis one hydrofoil catamaran is as much of a zero emission vessel as it is a high-performance multi-hull. the retractable hydrogen-electric propulsion powers it beyond the 50 knots speed barrier and to a cruise speed of 35 knots. 750 sqm of solar panels line the rooftop and help generate up to 150 kW of power to recharge its batteries when out at sea.

whilst sailing at such high speeds, the catamaran is exceptionally stable and safe at any chosen speed. this is thanks to VPLP design’s fully autonomous ‘oceanwings’ wing sail technology that automatically adjusts the sail’s angle of attack, camber and twist. the latest generation of smart lidar sensors capture the yacht’s surroundings to monitor current sea state and its wave height, shape and frequency. this data is then processed onboard and translated into precise commands for the automated hydrofoils and rudders.

with this automation, crew requirements have been minimized as the technology replaces bulky winches and cluttered cockpits. more interior space has therefore been devoted to creating a luxury environment for the passengers and owner. the layout inside is completely customizable in configuration for the owner. the living spaces are arranged over a tiered setting with levels for sleeping, dining, relaxing and decks for sunbathing. this futuristic aesthetic is mirrored externally, where the all carbon fiber body appears sleek, sharp and stealthy.
