there are a tiny handful of builders who consistently hit the mark with every motorcycle they create. in italy, one of those builders is venier custom motorcycles, which took home a trophy in 2013 from the biker fest for its beautiful interpretation of the classic ‘moto guzzi v75’. the bike is called ‘corsaiola,’ which loosely translates to mean ‘speedy’ in italian. a second evolution of this bike takes form in ‘corsaiola 02’; part of a limited series motorcycles and is a restyling of the ‘moto guzzi v75 750cc’ that was made in the late ’80s. venier customs has completely redesigned the concept of the bike giving it a new soul and style.

vernier’s latest evolution of the award-winning corsaiola

the custom motorcycle is an evolution of the ‘corsaiola 01’. the primary differences are the build quality having had years of experience in building quality motorcycles; and more black paint on the parts adds to the bike’s mystery and charm. the donor bike was an original 10, 000 km and the workshop has rebuilt everything by hand. engine; brakes; and the electrical system were completely restored and improved. the frame has been modified to use the tarozzi rear set and to achieve the ‘corsaiola’ tail section. the entire bodywork is hand crafted from aluminum and the seat is also hand made featuring a recessed homologated tail light. the exhaust system is from mistral and was painted black, providing an additional 5 hp, helping to boost the build to about 60hp. the engine has 4 valves, producing a very aggressive 750CC. its shocks are from ikon. the paint finish is all semi-gloss, even from the powder coated parts to the painted ones.

elegant mistral exhaust system boasts attractive cylinders jutting from the sides

the lines of the bike are simply immaculate now. they’re enhanced by the elegant mistral exhaust system, hooked up to the attractive cylinders jutting out to the sides. the engine has been overhauled and touched up with matte finishing, taking pride of place at the heart of the vehicle; the wheels are completely original, albeit restored. the finishing touch is a simple but effective, semi-gloss, black-and-white paint job. it’s a great example of the old becoming new again—venier’s ‘corsaiola 02’ wouldn’t look out of place in a showroom next to moto guzzi’s current range of V7’s. this bike is completely street legal with all homologated components.
