the days are numbered for improvised line markers such as shoes, jackets and cones, because nike has installed a laser system -  complete with a van, team of specialists and crane – to project bright lines onto the street, creating an augmented soccer pitch. the #mipista campaign brings a field to the concrete jungle at night, where users can play in a 5 vs. 5 sized arena. for now, the initiative is only hosted in madrid, where players can request a field via smartphone in six different neighborhoods from around the city.
