french experience designer guillaume binard has sent designboom images of his 'oceanwings'
neoprene suit - which was developed in collaboration with frédérique directed by jérôme espla,
a video demonstrates pierre frolla as he dives into the abyss - showcasing the emotions and
feelings associated with sub-aquatic activities. the analogy between aerial and aquatic flight
illustrates this intense tri-dimensional feeling met by the underwater humans.

  • And the propulsion system is… Farts?

    what? says:
  • Sorry, I don’t get it…where’s the flying? These look like basejump wingsuits. Is is just gliding until you reached the bottom and then beeing hauled up by the baloon, nooo!? Or can you flap with the wings like a bird? That would be nice, but I could not see this.
In fact, I think that ordinary fins will still be more efficient because they are at the end of your limbs – fish display that this is the best place for them ;-)
The wings could come in addition, but as air-sailing has shown, not broad wings do the trick but slim ones with a wide span.
