the french brand orée, wants to slowly take over every aspect of your desktop. just announced is their take on the next generation writing utensil, the orée ‘stylograph’. it’s a precision ballpoint pen crafted in an ergonomically shaped copper body. it will be sold in conjunction with a leather cover companion notebook. the ergonomic body includes a triangular grip that converges into a round tip, finished with a wooden cap. the copper body has a contemporary matte finish, and comes with a 0.7 mm ball point cartridge that can easy be refilled.

the ‘stylograph’ functions autonomously without any plug or smartphone access for up to two full days of note taking thanks to its embedded memory and battery. the content stored inside the pen can be transferred to both iOS and android smartphones with bluetooth pairing. it can be recharged by plugging the braided micro USB cable provided into any computer, power bank or USB power outlet. the orée ‘stylograph’ will be hitting the designboom store very soon, but in the mean time checkout their lineup of crafted wooden wireless desktop accessories available today.
