weighing about 32 grams and measuring around the size of a frisk mint pack (32mm × 70mm × 10.7mm), japanese handset manufacturer willcom has claimed to have developed the world’s smallest and lightest cellphone. made out of a combination of aluminum and plastic, the ‘strap phone 2’ serves to leash onto larger mobile devices or tablets – providing basic calling, email, and text messaging functionality. available in white, pink, and black body variations, it is equipped with a 1 inch monochromatic color LCD display with a fully functioning interface. in addition to having a movable built-in antenna for picking up stronger radio frequencies, the ‘phone strap’ provides up-to two hours of talk time and approximately 300 hours of standby time with its 400mAh battery.
