officially debuting at the 2015 geneva motor show, the range rover ‘evoque convertible’ was revealed in a unique testing video which featured the compact SUV exploring the underground tunnels of london’s crossrail. the prototype which follows the announcement of the 2016 ‘evoque‘, was given exclusive access to drive through the 26 mile network and was in fact, the first vehicle to do so. dressed in disguise and with its roof lowered, the opportunity enabled engineers to analyze the premium car’s performance and make modifications in time for its release in 2016.

murray dietsch, director of land rover program said: ‘the tunnels are still under construction, so we had a unique opportunity to explore the vehicle’s all-terrain ability in unchartered territory.’
