austin, texas shop revival cycles believes that the motorcycle should be more than a machine, it is an aesthetic expression that demonstrates the beauty of purposeful form. with the ‘henne BMW landspeeder’, the team demonstrates that it isn’t enough to just have a mechanically adequate machine. visual forms must also meet the requirements.

the hand-made gallery motorcycle was heavily influenced by ernst henne’s original ‘landspeeder’ –  he broke 76 land speed world records between 1929 to 1937. revival spent a whole month simply shaping the full aluminum bodywork and fairing. following the same themes, the aero-style valve covers and stainless hardware were all custom machined to match. the front suspension is sudden with a 24 degree setup, and includes a classic trailing link suspension with a kinematic progressive linkage.
