samsung and advertising company leo burnett created the ‘samsung galaxy surfboard’ – a prototype that provides live connectivity to surfers at sea and in real time. the korean electronics company partnered with johnny cabianca, to shape the unique project that took a year and a half to complete.

the surfboard is activated by inserting a ‘galaxy S7’ smartphone with connects to a screen on the deck with built-in LED lights. this allows it to display twitter messages with a predefined hashtag as well as  graphics with real-time information on the direction and intensity of the wind and the series of oncoming waves.
