samsung, together with maestro giovanni pelizzoli – a world famed frame builder – and designer alice biotti have created a smartphone-centered smart bike. presented during the 2014 milan design week, the bicycle has been developed to protect the rider thanks to its safety components, which are controlled via a samsung smartphone. the intelligent package comes with an innovative curved frame that neutralizes dangerous vibrations caused by riding on rough city streets, four laser beams that create individual bike lanes, an integrated GPS system and a rearview camera that streams a live video feed to the handlebar-mounted samsung device.
