american sports car manufacturer scuderia cameron glickenhaus reveals images of its first production vehicle, the ‘SCG003S’, which will be launched at this year’s geneva motor show. the supercar is a direct descendant of the ‘SCG003C’ race car, which won its class at the world-famous nürburgring 24 hour race in 2015: renowned as the toughest endurance race in the world, held on the epic nordschleife circuit in germany.

the racing heritage is clear to see in the ‘SCG003S’s’ model name-designations: ‘S’ stands for ‘stradale’,  with ‘C’ denoting ‘competizione’, in homage to the legendary italian road racers of the 1960s, who were equally at home on the track or on the road. while the inspiration behind the car is traditional, scuderia cameron glickenhaus‘ supercar features innovative technology, incorporating the lessons learned from previous competitions against the most renowned manufacturers in motorsport. in particular, the ‘SCG003S’ promises to be the fastest-cornering road car to date, with advanced aerodynamic downforce that generates over 2G through corners: similar levels to sports prototypes.

a high degree of personalization will be possible on the car, which will be produced to order in limited numbers from the middle of the year. this includes the competition-derived interior fit and finish, plus mechanical customization ensuring a tailor-made riding experience for every driver. with its unique looks and downforce, the ‘SCG003S’ is expected to elevate the hypercar to new levels of performance and driving enjoyment: accelerating from 0 – 100km/h covered in less than three seconds (not far off the figures of a formula 1 car), and reaching a maximum speed in excess of 350 km/h. this incredible performance is directly driven by the scuderia cameron glickenhaus’ sporting heritage, following development of the race-winning road car.
