‘romo’ by romotive

‘romo’ is a robot designed by las vegas-based startup romotive, and uses the ubiquitous smartphone as a ‘brain’. the romo employs
the capacity of a smartphone’s hardware, processors and sensors, allowing him to accomplish multiple activities,
where he can be told to wander around, dance to music or a user can even stream video to a controller (two smart devices, including laptops)
and direct him across wifi.

the gadget is continually being improved, where an online community is able to participate by constantly
publishing new behaviors that can also be downloaded through the custom app store. the company of the product provide continuous
support for the developers through the romotive SDK, allowing anyone to build and distribute new apps for ‘romo’.
