'street tag' app by channel 4

channeling the rebel in you, the free 'street tag' app developed by london's channel 4, transforms your iPhone into a can of spray paint,
allowing you to graffiti any monument, wall, street etc. around you, real time, without the legal consequences.
using the spray mode, you can create tags, and various options allow one to change paint color, size and wetness of the spray.
you can also create tags using your finger.

the app is part of channel 4's street summer program which celebrates street art, hip hop and urban culture in the UK.

showcase your work by geo-tagging your images via the app, facebook, twitter or e-mail

spray options allow you to change the color, size and wetness of the paint

you can view tags of others

  • all we need now is some real-time virtual looting.. :(

    Pg says:
  • my god what is the point of this? who is this for, the person unemployed for the past three years and grew bored of other useless iphone applications? Has the time not come yet in this world to work on real problems? I guess not.

    charles says:
  • I’m pretty sure the point of this is just to have fun without actually vandalizing property. If it’s not your cup of tea, then don’t download the app.

    adam says:
  • Agreed.

It is free, allows people to create art and it harms nothing but the happiness quotient of people like Charles. Not the most ground breaking App I have seen but definitely not the worst.
