the lazareth ‘wazuma V8F matte edition’ takes a ferrari engine and pairs it with a BMW ‘M3’ sequential gearbox, packing its ferocity in a matte black quad shell. created by dominic lazareth, the french car and motorcycle tuner behind the ‘back to the future yamaha YZF R1‘, he is known for blurring the genres of vehicles and producing some of the most outrageous customs in europe.

the lazareth ‘wazuma V8F matte edition’s’ ferrari 3.0 liter V8 engine is now modified with two yamaha ‘R1’ injection ramps, allowing its rider to over-rev the engine. this produces a frightening 250 hp for a total weight of 500 kg: quite frankly, terrifying. with twin wheels closely situated at the rear, and two spread wide at the front, the vehicles unique form and performance capabilites lend themselves to a superhero’s car collection–but which warrior would be brave enough to ride it?

the control of the BMW ‘M3’ gearbox has been completely revised by lazareth, allowing the rider to make gear shifts by hand using two buttons on the handlebars. in an effort to contain its raw power, brembo brake calipers are combined with four 324 mm discs, while four pfp racing horizontal shock absorbers (essentially custom made öhlins) soak up choppy rides. the ‘matte edition’s’ momo rims are extended at the rear to accomodate it’s ultra-wide ‘315/30 ZR18’ tires, while the front sits on a slightly-narrower pair of ‘285/30 ZR18’s’.
