within the current state of the workplace, combined with the technological advances of our time, people are required to sit down and stare at their computers for long, uncomfortable durations. as they adjust their posture, change the heights of their seats, and stretch their arms, they realize that they may have neck problems as well. with the intent to fix this problem in a novel way, veari has developed ‘fineck‘, a smart wearable device.

the company says, ‘the design process began by trying different pedometers and health trackers, some of which provide very good experience for jogging and fitness exercises, but not really helpful for neck problems. we thought there’d be more special care for our necks. that’s why we’ve made ‘fineck’ to help people having neck problems like us.’

the result of the experimentation has led to a product capable of tracking subtle movements and recognizing various body positions to remind users of their health status. these features can be used to their full potential with the addition of games built around different electronic platforms, engaging the muscles in new ways.
