turns out many creatives around the world have a hard time keeping track of ideas, sketches and notes. this leads to office desks full of scattered papers, smartphone albums full of photos where chaos ensues, and loss of some really great work. japanese company wacom, has also worked to help architects and designers bring their drawings to the digital world, but with their latest product, the ‘bamboo spark’, they’ve focused on the notes and ideas that make up great projects.

it centers around a folio with a smart ballpoint pen, and paper. it lets the user write by hand, saves the notes locally or within the cloud for editing, archiving and accessing anywhere, just by pressing a button in the middle. with wacom ‘bamboo spark’, the user can use up to 50 sheets of any kind of paper and start writing with the smart pen. each stroke is converted digitally instantly, to access whenever needed with the device app for tablets and smartphones. once in the cloud, the digital format can be shared in PDF and JPG formats with other cloud services, programs and apps, like evernote, dropbox and google docs.
