zeal optics iON HD camera goggles
colorado-based company zeal has developed the 'iON', a pair of goggles capable of capturing 1080p video and
shooting 8 megapixel photos with its integrated HD camcorder. paired together with anti-fog high density
UV optics and an impact resistant frame, it incorporates a 170 degree wide angle camera lens for greater
coverage as it automatically adjusts light levels with infinite focus.
an in-goggle viewfinder and glove ready controls on the side of the frame simplify the filming experience,
where its rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides three-hours of run time depending on usage. with the new
device, users can easily replay footage, set up sequence or timelapse shots, and easily download and integrate
with all social media outlets like facebook, twitter, instagram for sharing memories.
“the zeal iON goggle is going to change the way people use POV cameras,”says pro snowboarder kimmy fasani.
“with its easy to use playback mode and control placements, there’s never a reason to take your hands out of your gloves.
this goggle and camera will be a necessity when I’m filming.”

Nicely designed. Better than those dorky Ego Beanies you see when GoPros are helmet mounted.
Liquid Image has about five types of these goggles. Including a SCUBA version. Good that there is some competition. It will keep people pushing to excel.
Brilliant! now I can film the experience of riding super-fast down a slope on my board and then watch the film for kicks when I come back to London and I miss the snow and the mountains

So cool! A must have.
i think you can`t compare it to a helmet mounted cam like gopro. it`s a well designed single perspective cam! but if you shoot a video which lasts longer than 1 minute you need more perspectives and different mounting options.
