designer's own words:
Starting point for the design was a study into how different materials meet
within the bathroom environment (especially ceramic and chrome). This gave rise
to the 'stalac' style which creates a fluid meeting point between the
materials. This also lead to a modular grid concept for all elements within the
bathroom based on the 15cm x 15cm ceramic tile. The 'stalac' style can also
be applied outside the grid system as shown in the Stalacsink concept
(material: Corian).
