designer's own words :
The beauty of nature extends beyond the outdoors and enters the
household environment rendering the once sterile bathroom into an oasis of
tranquility with the Sprout faucet. Subtle controls reinforce the calming
nature of the product. For example, turning the wooden piece that encircles
the porcelain body activates the faucet and regulates the water’s
temperature. The ability to grow an assortment of plants, such as fragrant
herbs, heightens the user’s experience. Incorporating plant life into the
faucet system provides diverse interaction among the senses and a pleasing
experience.
