designer's own words :
This faucet flaunts the passionate embrace of water mixing. Rather than
hiding the process underneath the countertop this faucet brings it to center
stage. The faucet is suspended above a basin by an insulated hot water pipe
rising from the countertop, and a coldwater pipe connects from the ceiling.
Rotating controls on the body of the faucet control the flow of water into
the glass-mixing chamber. When turned simultaneously, streams of water
violently collide and fill the chamber, draining out through the mouth in a
calm and constant stream
