designer's own words:
'Suzuri' is an ink stone to grind an ink-cake on for brush painting or writing in Asian countries.
The design concept is to have action of washing and bathing on a continuous big one plate.
In Japan, usually the washing space and the bathtub are separated.
The floor curves into bathtub in the end so as a series of motions when taking bath as if grinding
ink-cake on the flat part and storing ink in the deep part. A curved floor/bathtub serves for
a very smooth and relaxing bath time.
