korean artist bohyun yoon isn’t a native english speaker, so when he first moved to the us he observed
people’s faces and gestures to help him understand better. ‘mirror mask’ is an art piece, yoon created
based on the universality of body language. the mirror shows multiple angles of the face, exaggerating
the wearer’s expressions. the mirror mask itself is made from two oval shaped mirror that are attached
the wearer through hinges on a brass support. the mirrors can be angled to best capture the user’s face.
