stephanie casper: knitted meat

'knitted meat' series by stephanie casper
stephanie casper, an advertising and design student at pratt institute in new york city,
has created a series of knitted meat products. ranging from sausage links to rotisserie chicken,
each handmade object is packaged supermarket-style with a styrofoam base and transparent wrap.

knitted t-bone steak

knitted ham

knitted rotisserie chicken

knitted fish head

What's the point?
THAT'S THE POINT
I can find the Staphanie's point, but not easily, I have to say..

Ok but seriously though.....what is the point ?
nice try but get real & a marketing job if thats not what you do already.
The composition is by an advertising & design student which could point towards the angle the concept is aimed at, as you stated for marketing purposes. I think the only issue here is the lack of information provided by the creator for their theory. I agree it's not self explanatory.

Philosophically, and intellectually, it's like asking someone to come change your diaper -stop being so thick and open yourself up to the possibility of non-linear connections between things...we live in a complex world ripe for abstract, if not ironic, commentary...for crying out loud!
