ellen urselmann is a dutch artist who works with the traditional medium of glass in very unconventional
ways. she studied glass making in the netherlands and now practices the craft by combining glass
blowing with found objects. many of her projects build on these found objects or take bits and pieces
from them to create new objects from glass. urselmann exhibits internationally and won the european
young artist prize in 2006. she is currently based in her home town, baarlo.
