katherine verhoeven is a toronto based artist and illustrator whose works combines both hand-drawn and digital elements.
while her art spreads across multiple themes, her most pieces revolve around representations on common
european superstitions. from a swarm of bees on a house to dogs howling in the dark of night, this series captures these
unusual beliefs with a surreal and painterly style.
