held at piers 92 and 94 in new york city, the 2011 armory show is an international art fair
featuring both contemporary and modern art galleries in addition to being a venue for premiering
new works by living artists. for over a decade, artists, galleries, collectors, critics and curators from
all over the world come to new york in march for this week of art and even inspires smaller exhibitions
through out the city.

directing the graphics of the show this year is new york based designer and artist reed seifer.
his piece 'new york is a lot of work' a run of 1,000 US dollar bills with a foil stamp of the same text
will be displayed at this year's show as well as being circulated throughout the space. in fact,
if you were in new york in 2009, you may have seen his mta arts for transit institution produced
'optimism metrocard' wide scale public art piece.

the armory show is on now until sunday, 30 USD - day pass, 10 USD - students.
