we have just received japanese filmmaker seiichi hishikawa's most recent work, 'colors'. the 4 minute 18 second film digitally
crafted video was directed by hishikawa, co-designed by takaharu shimizu, and produced by takashi ueno. the precise soundscape
was arranged by tatsuya yamada. in the piece, the flux in the music follows the shape of the brightly-colored graphic renderings as
they shift and move across the screen. the impression of hishikawa's experience in the music industry is evident throughout the entirety
of his body of work, yet in in 'colors', the director accentuates this feature within his artistic approach. 'colors' is a minimalistic
and futuristic visualization of sound.

mobile phone by the japanese company NTT domoco. the well-received project was awarded in three separate categories at cannes lions.

Its ironic the beautiful forest and all the wood you've used!

This looks like a visualization of music but it is not. The only thing what is in sync is the release of a particle cloud at the moment the keyboard is touched. Everything after that is random. My guess is this is a fluid simulation that drives a particle cloud. The changing of the colors is a simple animated parameter. Looks beautiful but gets boring very quickly.

looks pretty but doesn't really convey any emotion beyond what the music is telling us. It just seems that the artist has plugged a keyboard into a computer and played a tune. were's the creativity?

Graphics of my computer brokes while displaying this movie. Than the effect is much more interesting!
