lehmann maupin gallery presents a collection of personal photographs by german-born and london-based photographer juergen teller.
the series, presented in three segments, is a compilation of recent works by the artist. the first portion details kristen mcmeanamy
in the home of italian architect carlo mollino, picturing the american model in provocative poses. the second installation,
'keys to the house', is comprised of photos taken in teller's personal life, depicting his family and friends in suffolk, UK.
lastly, 'men and women' is on display, bringing to show intimate portraits of fashion industry icon vivian westwood along with
american photographer william eggleston.

though teller is most notably known for his fashion photography, influencing the advertising aesthetics of marc jacobs, helmut lang,
yves saint laurent and vivienne westwood brands, this exhibition is more personal. the installation depicts teller's ability
to create a cohesive array of images portraying his unique photographic sensibility which is infused in both his private
and commissioned work displayed within the gallery space.
