starting with images of celebrities lifted from the pages of magazines artist david adey utilizes specialty craft punches
to cut fragments of the subjects skin and then reassembles them on a canvas using hundreds of pins.

london-based photographer david sykes captured these macabre popsicles crafted by UK craftsmen, hamilton ice sculptors,
in his 2010 series entitled skull lolly. an accomplished advertising photographer, his deft ability in lighting and composition
results in surreal reaction to the photos: should one be repulsed or hungry?



the snow surrounding the swirls remained un-trampled

snow drawings
with the aid of five volunteers artist sonja hinrichsen trampled the freshly fallen snow of rabbit ears pass in colorado
to create two expansive, temporary drawings consisting of numerous interwoven spirals that stretch across a wide plateau.

against the backdrop of a world embroiled in an ongoing series of fancancial crises, dimiti tsykalovs unraveling
credit cards seem especially poignant.

gallery sophie marie in paris announced a new collection of photographs entitled paradise parking by american-born
photographer peter lipmann, depicting the decay of abandoned automobiles in rural settings. the works are meant
to examine the relationship between man-made objects and mother nature.

the delicate wings of beetles and other insects part to reveal intricate gears and gizmos in these miniature steampunk insects
by jeweler-turned-artist lindsey bessanon.



a vast collection of work by this influential artist

cindy sherman at moma
opening february 26th through june 11th, MoMA brings together over 170 images spanning the entire career
of photographer cindy sherman including a number of recent photographic murals that will make their american debut.

sculptural and video works.

in his latest exhibition anyone and no one at paul kasmin gallery in new york city, will ryman presented two new works:
a towering bird made of 4,500 custom welded nails inspired by edgar allen poes the raven, and an enormous man
made from thousands of bottle caps whose brain is comprised of a labyrinth of stacked paintbrushes.

spiros hadjidjanos: network time
an internet based unit system of several WI-FI routers arranged in the gallery space providing free Internet access to visitors.
the artist has altered the operating system of each router, to manipulate the fluctuation of the fiber optics
