jennifer mehigan created a vibrant combine-media series 'armed/luminous'. the collection includes found photographs
of houses burning which the syndey-based artist then paints over with a layer of beautiful loose brush strokes,
mirroring the movement of the lapping flames beneath.





the painting seems to be an extension of the flames captured in the original photographs
