firstly, korfmann composes each piece by traveling to a new location in to develop a photo which encapsulates the every day life from this distinct region. the artist takes several images of various busy locations in this area such as busy streets or pedestrian squares from a shifted perspective. every finished photographic panel is comprised of several visualizations of a particular space– the images are melded together in digital post production in order to appear to display a progression of events or momentous occasion giving the place greater visual importance.
