cologne dome window by gerhard richter

the cologne dome south wing window, redesigned by german artist gerhard richter, was revealed on
august 25th, 2007. it uses 4900 colours in 25 different hues, randomly combined to form a colour mosaic.
an exhibition at the museum ludwig presents original sketches, drawings and paintings of the project planning,
executed by richter itself. hurray, because the exhibition is only on show until january 13th.
