'museum 1' from museum of nature series, 2003

photology gallery in milan opened a new exhibit featuring the work of finnish photographer ilkka halso on
march 25th. 'in natura. a finnish trilogy.' presents work by halso and fellow finnish artists janne lehtinen and
jorma puranen. halso's photos explore mankind’s relationship to nature through large scale landscape
photographs. the works at photology are from two series of works. the 'restauration' series features night
scenes of nature in a pseudo-scientific and medical context, nursing species back to life. the most recent series
'museum of nature' uses digital constructions to demonstrate the conservation and isolation of nature.
the exhibit will be on show until may 3rd.
