the conceptual and controversial artwork of santiago sierra

santiago sierra is a spanish artist who lives and works in mexico city. he would most appropriately be classified
as a conceptual artist. his work is a direct reflection of his personal view of capitalism, globalisation, race and
many other controversial issues. most know sierra’s work for being extremely controversial. he recently
re-exhibited a work at london’s tate modern in their turbine hall. they also interviewed the reclusive sierra in their
tate shots series.
