'eco-warriors' by oliviero toscani

the work of italian photography oliviero toscani seams to serve as barometer of society.
in the 90’s his controversial work for benetton hit a chord with politically minded viewers.
for his latest series ‘eco-warriors’, toscani photographed a group of diverse children
dressed in tribal-like garb made from recycled waste and plant-life. toscani obviously has
his thumb on the pulse of today, reflecting the overwhelming interest in sustainability and
global warming.
