'tape 3', 2006

american artist rebecca ward's installation are carefully planned and calculated
according to the design and measurements of each site she is given. she also
uses videos to animate her installations. ward refers to her work as architectural.
her use of bright, contrasting colorful patterns is striking for any viewer.

rip and pull, 2007

ideally these patterns are numerically symmetrical or somehow numerically
balanced, producing a dialogue between line and space. I initially began
working with tape because of the broad range of colors in which it is available.
