swiss designer philippe cramer creates objects using various materials including porcelain,
crystal and metal. earlier this year he was invited to create an installation for my design district,
co organised by espaces contemporains. a large steel comb was placed on a bench at the
entrance of the space to encourage interaction amongst guests. using themes of light,
transparencies and shadows his 'carte blanche' installation displayed everyday objects in
a simplistic way.
