parallel worlds

french artist hugues reip has curated the 'parallel worlds' exhibition celebrating
the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between france and japan. fantasy
and science fiction are the theme of the exhibition featuring multi media works
from reip and 10 other japanese and french artists he has selected. reips major
works such as 'eden' - where viewers can experience an optical illusion of
themselves as insects inside large plants and 'white spirits' - where illusions
of ghosts appear and disappear are included. the 'parallel' world's exhibition
displays a playful side to contemporary art.
