september 26-27, 2008

as part of todays art 08, maxalot presented a series of works by some of the world’s top generative artists.
these artists use computer algorithms and scripting languages to generate imagry. the works in the exhibit
‘processing light’ were projected onto the vrom building next to the hague’s central station. while most of the
works operate in a controlled area defined by the artist, the nature of the medium always injects elements
of surprise. the participating artists included neil banas, dextro, eno henze, pedro mari, quayola,
karsten schmidt, lia, jim soliven, marius watz and mike paul young.
