statuephilia exhibition at the british museum

the ‘statuephilia’ exhibition showcases major works by five contemporary british artists who include: ron mueck, marc quinn, damien hirst, antony gormley and noble and webster. each artists work will be exhibited in different galleries within the museum creating a mixture of old and new works that make up the museum’s permanent collection. on display will be ron mueck’s mask II, a self portrait in the form of a giant head lying on its side. marc quinn’s solid gold statue of supermodel kate moss will also be featured.
