faile is a brooklyn based artist collective best known for their distinctive style of street art. the collective’s
art combines a variety of mediums and is continually evolving. they began using wheat pasting to adhere
their screen printed posters to walls. their work is filled with imagery drawn from popular culture like
comic books and advertising. they have mounted their work on streets all over the world and have also
dipped their toes into the world of fine art, fashion and homewares. their most recent work combines
various imagery is an overlaid manner, appearing like a billboard with many layers of paper visible at
once. fecal face was lucky enough to get a glimpse inside the group’s secret studio space as they prepared
for their ‘lost in glimmering shadows’ show which was held a few months ago in london. they were also
one of the invited group’s in the tate modern’s ‘street art’ show.
