german born, australia based glass artist klaus moje will exhibit some of his work form the past 30 years
at the museum of arts and design in new york. the show will be filled with a variety of glass work ranging
from his early carved crystal glass pieces, to his more recent layered glass, much of which has never been
shown before. 68 pieces will be on show including a large scale glass mural made specifically for this show.
moje works primarily is glass fusion, innovating new methods and technique for forming glass by
arranging it and firing it in a kiln. this glass making technique has historically been difficult to achieve
vivid colours and intricate details, but moje breaks the mold as he is admired for his bright a vibrant works.
