the aram gallery is london is currently showing the group show ‘significant colour’ devoted to designers
and artists with a passion for colour. the exhibitors come from a diverse range of backgrounds including
architecture, art and furniture design. the show explores the impact of colour and colour as a subject
matter through a wide variety of mediums. the show is guest curated by textile artist and architectural
colour consultant ptolemy mann. mann was intent on showing that despite the fact that colour seems to
have diminished in importance, it is an important part of our environments. the show proves there is
a colour renaissance underway in many fields.
